Steve has been recognized as the District's 'pump station guru,' generously sharing his knowledge and expertise by training our entire field services staff on the operation and maintenance of the pump stations, significantly enhancing our team's capabilities and efficiency.
Steve's exceptional work ethic and contributions were acknowledged when he was named the Collections Systems Person of the Year in San Diego County in 2006 by the California Water Environment Association (CWEA), Leucadia's Employee of the Year in 2007, Mechanical Technician of the Year in San Diego County in 2014 by CWEA, and runner-up for Mechanical Technician of the Year in California in 2014 by CWEA.
