LWD’s Finance Department provides professional financial services and controls to maintain the financial integrity of the District. Under the direction of the Administrative Services Manager, Finance Department staff consists of one full-time Accounting Technician and one full-time Administrative Services Specialist.
The goal of the Finance Department is maintain accurate and complete financial records, pay all employees and vendors accurately and on time, serve the public by supplying meaningful and timely reports and information, and comply with all mandated reporting requirements. In addition, the department produces and maintains a long-range Financial Plan that looks at the district’s financial requirements for the next 20 years. By maintaining this plan, District staff is able to oversee and implement policies to prudently invest funds and maintain adequate reserves.
