Do your part for Plastic Free July ♳

According to Plastic Oceans, we are producing over 380 million tons of plastic every year and more than 10 million tons of plastic is dumped into our oceans every year.

We deeply care about the state of our oceans, as the District pumps back secondary treated water from the Encina Water Pollution Control Facilities that would normally go out their ocean outfall to our Gafner Water Recycling Facility.

In order to keep plastics out of our oceans, we must reduce plastic usage and refuse single-use plastic products.

Not sure where to start? Take the challenge & get involved here: https://www.plasticfreejuly.org/

We'd love to hear from you! How are you reducing, reusing, and recycling your plastic waste?
