🚛💧 Bringing Wastewater Education to Life at La Costa Heights Elementary! 🏫🌈
Our LWD Field Service Technicians (FSTs) recently visited Kindergarten and 2nd grade classes at La Costa Heights Elementary – both recipients of our Teacher Grant Program!
Students got an up-close look at:
🚽 What happens after you flush, shower, or brush your teeth
🤖 How our CCTV camera robot inspects sewer lines from the inside
🚐 The inside of our mobile van – where inspection footage is reviewed
💦 The power of our Vactor truck’s water jet – blasting roots inside clear pipe to keep lines clean
The best part? Watching the robot on screen AND seeing the water spray out of the pipe! 🚿 The kids asked great questions (including what crazy things we find down there) and learned about the 3Ps – only pee, poop, and paper should go down the drain!
