We’ve been finding a lot of wipes in the sewer system around Old Leucadia—specifically north of Leucadia Blvd and east of Vulcan Ave.
While labeled “flushable” they are not and they do not break down. They clog pipes, damage equipment, and can cause messy (and expensive) backups.
Only toilet paper should go down the toilet. All wipes - baby wipes, cleaning wipes, makeup wipes - belong in the trash.
