🚛 Behind the Scenes: Visiting Vactor’s Manufacturing HQ! 🏭

Some of our Field Service Leaders, Marvin and Mauricio, recently traveled to Vactor’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in Streator, Illinois, to see firsthand where our key equipment is built.

This visit was especially exciting as they got to sign off on the newest addition of a combination truck to our fleet, ensuring it meets our high standards before joining the team! ✅

Check out some photos from their visit! 📸👇

🚨 Homeowners & Contractors: Keep Pool Plaster Out of Your Drains! 🚨

Pouring pool plaster down drains can cause serious blockages, leading to costly fines for both you and your contractor. 🚫💰

✅ Proper Disposal Matters! Make sure your contractor follows best practices by dewatering and transporting plaster to a landfill or recycling facility.

For guidance or to report issues, call us at (760) 753-0155 or visit our website. Let’s work together to keep our community’s wastewater system running smoothly! 💙♻️

🚰💙 Inspiring Young Water Stewards at Capri Elementary! 💙🚰

We had an amazing time at Capri Elementary’s Kindergarten Water Day, where our Field Service Technicians gave students a behind-the-scenes look at what happens to water after it leaves their sinks, showers, and toilets—all in both English and Spanish! 🌎💧

From our combination vacuum and line-cleaning truck to the closed-circuit TV robot that inspects sewer lines across northern Encinitas and southern Carlsbad, students got an up-close look at how we protect the ocean and its marine life every day. 🐠🌊

Did you know? For the past 40 years, LWD’s Gafner Water Recycling Facility has been delivering recycled water to Omni La Costa’s South Golf Legends Course.

The water is used to irrigate the grass, keeping the course lush and vibrant. Each year, we produce 80 to 100 million gallons of recycled water for the golf course, helping conserve valuable potable water resources.

Pile Driving Work at Batiquitos Lagoon to Take Place January 25-26
On Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Build NCC crews will perform pile driving work within the Batiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad. Pile driving is a construction technique that allows crews to install steel beams, or “piles,” into the ground to construct a temporary work platform.

The District will be closed on January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
For emergencies, please call (760) 753-0155.
