Construction alert!

We will be upgrading our Village Park 7 Pump Station starting Wednesday, March 22 and ending in early May. Construction will take place on Mountain Vista Drive in Encinitas, shown in red on the map below. Please drive slow and stay alert as you pass by. Thank you!

The Field Services Department consists of Field Services Technicians that operate and maintain the District’s sewer system, known as a collection system. In our Meet the FSTs video, you may recognize some familiar faces seen in your neighborhood explaining how they use various equipment and complex computer systems they use to clean, inspect, operate and repair the collection system. Check it out below!

Check out this live virtual tour for kindergarten teacher Nancy Jois from Capri Elementary.

In this brief snippet of the live virtual tour, Field Services Technicians Hugo and Mauricio showed four kindergarten classes the District's combination truck and closed-circuit television van (CCTV van). They taught the students how the CCTV van is used to inspect underground pipes for blockages or defects and how the combination truck is integral in clearing out blockages in sewer lines.
